Meh deh

I'm a lot of things today, but I'm going to persevere and be victorious!

2 big deals, 1 day

So yay, today is my birthday; 1st big deal. Then, I registered my daughter for pre-k today; the second big deal. Both things can come with trepidation, especially since the latter is for the 1st time & the former reminds me that these numbers ain't loyal. 😂

Today, the day itself isn't being made a big deal since it started out much like any other, but I still got some time to be to myself. I remember not liking to be by myself. I didn't know who I was , and now that I am older, I don't see how I didn't know. But it was like a veil was over my head (not just my eyes) and only those outside of me could see my true personality. I don't remember much about high school because I was just there for the education and the diploma. I did not care much for the popularity contests or school spirit stuff. I set my eyes on college when I first learned about Cornell University, before I even knew it was an Ivy League school.
